Placing your barrio

Click Add my barrio on the map to start drawing. Then click on the map to drop points that define your space — each click adds a corner. Close the shape by clicking back on the first point.

Adjusting the shape

• Drag a corner point to move it
• Drag the whole shape to reposition it
• Click the midpoint of an edge (where the length in metres is shown) to add a new corner
• Click a point to select it (it turns orange), then press Delete or Backspace to remove it
• Hold Shift and click points to select multiple at once, or click and drag on empty space to draw a selection rectangle
• The area in m² is shown in the centre and updates as you edit

Saving & editing later

Happy with it? Hit Save. Afterwards, click your barrio on the map to see its size, then Edit to jump back into edit mode. Every save creates a history entry — use the History button to browse and restore any previous version: hit the preview button to show the version, and then save the one you want to restore. No stress, you can't break anything!

Stay inside the dashed zones

The dashed areas mark the safe camping zones, protected by lightning poles. The colour of the dashes indicates the zone's sound level — from blue (quieter) to red (louder). Camping outside them is not allowed, so keep your barrio inside those boundaries.

Overlaps? Talk it out!

If your barrio overlaps with another, reach out on Discord #city-planning and work it out together. If there are unresolved conflicts at the end of the phase, the city planning team will sort them out.

Colours & sound zones

Each barrio is coloured by its preferred sound zone (editable from your barrio page).
